Did Max Branning Cause The Entire EastEnders Bus Crash?

It looks as though Max Branning is out to destroy Albert Square once and for all.

The business man was framed for Lucy Beale’s murder, but managed to get off when the real killer was finally exposed.

Things then got worse when his own brother, Jack Branning, banned him from his recent wedding to the now deceased Ronnie Mitchell.

While it seemed like he had forgiven everyone and was keen to build bridges, EastEnders revealed last night that Max has set his sights squarely on getting revenge.

He was sentenced to 21 years in prison, and faced serving the full sentence until Bobby Beale admitted to killing his sister in cold blood.

Now back on the street, and living in an unknown location, Max is hell bent on getting his own back on the Beales and the rest of the Square for believing he could be such a cold-blooded killer.

During a meeting at the Shard in a recent episode with a creepy business man, Max appeared to confirm that he was responsible for the shocking bus crash that left Whitney in fear for her life.

But he’s not finished either, and suggested that next on his list of places to destroy is the iconic Queen Vic.

“Well that’s next on my list,” he said. “Let it burn for all I care.”

Actress Luisa Bradshaw-White, who plays Tina Carter, recently hinted that it may be the end of the road for the pub.

She said recently: “I think there is a danger – I think there is! It’s a scary time – maybe we all lose the Queen Vic possibly, who knows? I’d be gutted.”
