Anton Du Beke has revealed he is ready to be a father for the first time with his girlfriend Hannah Summers.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Strictly Come Dancing fan favorite, 50, he revealed: “Hannah and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting twins in the spring We are over the moon.!
The professional dancer also shared a sweet snap of a top hat, cane, and two sets of ballet shoes with the words: ‘We hear the tippety-tap of tiny feet.’
The announcement comes amid claims the pair had been trying to fall pregnant for years.
A source told The Sun On Sunday: ‘Hannah didn’t fall pregnant quite as quickly as they would have liked and it was a source of worry for them for a while.
‘Eventually they decided they wanted to try IVF treatment and they are delighted it has worked. Hannah is now more than three months pregnant and she seems to be coping very well.’
Anton and businesswoman Hannah are believed to have begun dating in 2007, shortly after his split from radio and TV broadcaster Caroline Feraday, but did not go public with their romance for years.
Speaking about his girlfriend, Anton said: ‘Performing was the “woman” in my life, if you like – but then Hannah came along. She’s just perfect.
‘She’s very beautiful, clever, but also really kind.’

Anton recently grew close to another woman in his life, Birds of a Feather actress and his Strictly partner Lesley Joseph, 71, before the pair became the fifth couple to be voted off this series.
Speaking after the dance-off Anton said: ‘I would just like to say thank you very much, you enriched my whole Strictly experience this year.
‘Dancing with you has been an absolute joy. You pushed me, I don’t know about me pushing you, you pushed me to try and be more creative and make the numbers better and that’s just down to you and you’re just an absolute joy. And I love you dearly.’
Meanwhile, Anton – who has been involved with Strictly since the first series in 2004 – has been billed as one of the front runners to take over as Head Judge when Len Goodman leaves the show next year.
