And now Gotham co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are officially engaged, Us Weekly revealed on Tuesday.
A source confirmed to the publication that the actors are ‘very happily engaged’ after Morena flashed a diamond ring at the Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday night.
The happy news comes almost nine months following the birth of their daughter Frances, who they call Frankie.
This will be Ben’s first marriage and Morena’s second. She finalised her divorce from Austin Chick in March, two weeks after giving birth.
Morena and Austin, who share three-year-old son Julius, married in 2011 and he filed for divorce in July 2015.
Two months later, it emerged that the Deadpool actress was pregnant with The O. C. star Ben’s baby.
Morena confirmed in court documents in September that she was three and a half months along, and that she planned to re-marry.
On Monday, the Homeland star flashed her engagement ring after Ben popped the question.
The happy couple left their little girl at home for the evening to enjoy a date night at the ceremony, which took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Morena looked stunning for the occasion as she showed off her post-baby body in a purple and black floral print dress, while Ben cut a suave figure in a blue suit and paisley tie.
Ben has been portraying Police Commissioner James Gordon on Gotham since it kicked off in 2014, and Morena joined the show as Leslie Thompkins during the first season.
