More than 100 passengers on board a Delta Airlines plane will be screened by the FBI after the arriving flight was forced to land in a remote corner of Denver International Airport due to a threatening note.
The plane, Flight 1500 from Detroit, had 151 passengers on board. It landed at DIA at about 4:40 p.m.
As of 7:15 p.m. today, April 18th, passengers, luggage and the aircraft were still being screened by the FBI, said Dave Joly, spokesman for the FBI Denver division.
Aaron Baratz, a passenger, told mentioned on Twitter that the passengers were being taken from the area by bus. They were not allowed to open overhead compartments and retrieve any bags.
Authorities, including K-9 are securing the plane.
