O most Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of gentleness and mercy, I, an unworthy sinner, fly to you with sentiments of confidence and love.
I beg you who stood close to your most beloved Son as He hung upon the cross, graciously to remain near me, a miserable sinner, and near all priests who throughout the whole Church will offer Holy Mass this day. By your gracious favor help me to offer a sacrifice which is worthy and acceptable in sight of the most high and undivided Trinity.
The LORD says : You, Bethlehem-Ephrathah, too small to be among the clans of Judah, From you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel ; Whose origin is from of old, from ancient times.
(Therefore the Lord will give them up, until the time when she who is to give birth has borne, And the rest of his brethren shall return to the children of Israel.)
He shall stand firm and shepherd his flock by the strength of the LORD, in the majestic name of the LORD, his God; And they shall remain, for now his greatness shall reach to the ends of the earth;
he shall be peace.
Celebration of the nativity of the blessed virgin mary. What a great day, may the bleeings enrich in today’s mass find a better place in our living and this month of September will be a month of restoring ur lost glory from God. Morning to u all my indispensible friends.
Let us be joyous in commemorating the birthday of mary, mother of Jesus Christ. She willingly allowed God to use her to be the medium through which the Word of God is made flesh (Luke 1: 26 – 38).
A sin-filled maiden would not have held or carried a sinless, Holy God, this is why we believe with evidence that her conception was sinless and immaculate.
Already God had foretold through Prophet Isaiah that a virgin shall conceive and bear a son (Isaiah 7 : 14 ).
So it was not surprising when Angel Gabriel visited mary because God always fulfills every word that proceeds from His mouth.
Therefore today as we celebrate the immaculate conception of the mother of Jesus Christ and our mother also (John 19:26-27) , let us meditate on our own lives.
