More details about Iggy Azalea’s “sex tape saga” is in now and it’s getting even more complicated. The blonde rapper’s lawyers reportedly confirmed to celebrity gossip website TMZ that it could be her in the video with an ex-boyfriend however there is a chance she was a minor and it was shot without her knowledge or consent.
Now, the lawyers have come out saying that there is no way it could be her in the controversial footage and they will sue porn giant Vivid Entertainment if her name is anywhere near the marketed sex tape.
Iggy’s legal team told TMZ two days ago that the tape, which is being shopped to porn giant Vivid Entertainment, was NOT her, but they have since backtracked.
Her lawyers now say any sex video would be the work of a “spurned business suitor”, which is believed to mean her ex, who’s trying to “damage her image and career out of revenge.”
Sources also say Vivid’s CEO Steve Hirsch is offering the star, who is now dating Nick Young, a seven-figure sum for the raunchy tape.
Last night she hit out at the man trying to flog the video and posted a series of tweets denying she has a sex tape.
She posted: “I don’t have a sex tape but for the record…
“Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else’s intimate moments against their will is a sex offender.” Vivid honcho Steven has said the video could even top Kim Kardashian’s legendary tape when it comes to sales.
But Iggy, 24, is having none of it and also posted: “& it honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women.
“and i really hope that america will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights.” She then jokingly added: “and on that note, I’m off to get a manicure. peaaaaccceeeeeee outtttttt *drops the mic*.”
Well said! Hopefully she can continue to keep her head held high.
