South Korean painter Lim Cheol Hee focuses on bringing out the inner consciousness of his subjects and does exceedingly well doing it. You can see this so clearly in the way he paints his subjects, blurred and with indistinct features, so as to give the impression that the workings of their minds are cracking through to the surface. His vibrant use of color is infectious.
