Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born To Run’ Book Tour

Bruce Springsteen has announced a tour to promote his biography Born to Run.

Springsteen will make a series of appearances at bookstores throughout the US this fall, after the publication of Born to Run on September 27.

The tour begins in his hometown of New Jersey and includes dates in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Springsteen spoke of his reasons for writing the biography in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. “We had to find the roots of my own problems and issues,” he said, “and happy things that have allowed me to put in the kind of programs that we have.”

In the book, Springsteen opened for the first time about his ongoing battle with depression. “One of the points I’m doing in the book is that whoever you’ve been and where you’ve been, never leaves you,” Springsteen said. “I always imagine like a car. All beings are in it. And a new I can go, but the old natures can never leave. The important thing is, you have your hands on the wheel at any given moment ¿moment?”

Born to Run will be accompanied by a compilation album ‘chapter and verse’, which includes five new songs.

Springsteen is currently finishing his tour ‘river’ of the United States. Last night at a concert in Pittsburgh, he dedicated a song to a Trump protester.
