Charlotte Crosby took to Twitter to announce that she’d be heading into the I’m A Celebrity jungle last night… Only to reveal it was a joke.
The Geordie Shore prankster left fans disappointed as she confirmed rumours that she’d be heading down under to be a contestant on this year’s show. “Yep I am going on @imacelebrity I can’t wait so excited man,”.
However, shortly after the 26-year-old reality TV star admitted that it was a joke and that she actually isn’t going to appear on the show at all. In a Snapchat video, she said “I’m hungover and I thought it would be funny cos everyone is saying I’m going into the jungle to say I am.”

“But the reality is, I’m not. I’m sick of everyone asking us about it and saying I’m lying,” she continued.

So far, only Eastenders star Larry Lamb has been confirmed to be in this year’s I’m A Celebrityline up, while rumours are circulating about the possible return of Made In Chesea star Spencer Matthews, who was focred to leave the show early last year.
TOWIE stars Kate Wright and Jessica Wright have also been rumoured to be heading into the jungle, alongside Cheryl’s ex-husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini and Team GB Olympic Gymnast, Louis Smith.
