Colombian Artist Marcello Castellani Makes Unique Drip-effect Paintings

Colombian artist Marcello Castellani explores different techniques in his works to ultimately find his own style. He’s still in training, working with pencil, acrylics or illustration.

His work as a digital designer has led him to explore the relationship between photography and pixel. This research paved the way for his first solo exhibition called ‘Hilados (Spun)’, a deconstruction of photographic images in pixels, which ended up with him spilling paint onto the canvas so it looked like threads, representing everything that connects the artist with his life and experiences. Find more of his works on his portfolio.
