Gawker Media reported today that David Geithner, brother of ex-Obama Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, who is currently the chief financial officer of the US Media Conglomerate Condé Nast. This past weekend, he’d planned to go to Chicago—where he planned to meet a gay porn star and escort for “2-3 hours” at a cost of $2,500.
Geithner’s interaction with the gay porn star began on July 4, when Geithner first contacted Ryan, whose phone number is available on a number of Chicago-area escort websites, via text message. Geithner said that he was going to be in Chicago exactly a week later, and would pay $2,500—plus airfare and hotel—for “2-3 hours” of Ryan’s services.
