French actress Lea Seydoux (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) has reportedly landed the Bond Girl role in James Bond 24.
The 29-year-old actress “will undergo a series of costume, make-up and camera tests so that director Sam Mendes and the film’s producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson can determine her ‘look’.”
“The Bond 24 storyline originally called for an actress of Scandinavian origin, but that idea was dropped for one with French ooh-la-la,” the site reports, adding that the cast’s script rehearsal will take place in late November.
Lea Seydoux’s credits include Inglourious Basterds, Blue is the Warmest Color, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Midnight in Paris, and Robin Hood.
Bond 24 is scheduled to release on October 23, 2015 in the UK and November 6, 2015 in the US.
Returning director Sam Mendes has promised that the new installment will be the second part of Skyfall’s story.
