It’s that time of the year again. The 72nd annual awards ceremony will be shown live on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m. EST.
But if you’re unable to tune in to the ceremony, there are other ways you can watch the exciting event being hosted for the third consecutive time by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Live coverage of the Golden Globes will be shown 8-11 p.m. EST via the sponsoring Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s website, which you can watch here.
One of the nominees at the 2015 awards ceremony will be Jennifer Aniston, who was nominated for best performance by an actress in a motion picture-drama for her role in “Cake.”
“I mean my gosh — my jaw is on the ground,” the actress responded to news of her nomination, according to E Online. “To be recognized for doing something that I love, something so refreshing, it’s amazing. I have found this whole process so exciting and especially taking on a part that’s so challenging — and then for that to be acknowledged, is extraordinary.”
Aniston, a previous Globe winner, will also be presenting at the 72nd annual awards ceremony. The sponsoring association announced the “Cake” actress will present alongside actors such as Ricky Gervais (a former Golden Globes host), Meryl Streep and Bryan Cranston at the 2015 event.
Another big name attending the event is Emma Stone, who was nominated for best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a motion picture for her portrayal in “Birdman.”
“I have no words. I am so incredibly honored and grateful for this and feel insanely lucky to have had the chance to work with Alejandro, Michael, Edward, and the whole cast and crew of the beautiful madness that is ‘Birdman.’ Now can someone please explain who this ‘Meryl Streep’ woman is?!” the actress quipped in her reaction statement, E Online reported.
Streep is no stranger to winning big at the Golden Globes. The iconic actress has been nominated 29 times and has won a whopping eight times. Her most recent nomination is for her appearance in “Into the Woods.” Streep will be competing against Patricia Arquette (“Boyhood”), Jessica Chastain (“A Most Violent Year”), Keira Knightley (“The Imitation Game”) and Emma Stone (“Birdman”).
