Barack Obama has been filmed getting down to Hotline Bling with Usher at his final White House musical event as president.
Obama was seen dancing to Drake‘s hit at the BET Love & Happiness: A Musical Experience after party on Friday.
The President shimmied, sashayed and shuffled, mimicking Drake’s much-parodied ‘dad dancing’ moves which became an internet sensation when he released the song last year.
And if that was not cool enough, Obama was joined on the dance floor by Usher and Janelle Monáe.
This is Obama’s final musical evening at the White House and during his opening remarks on Friday, he reflected on some of the legendary musicians who had performed.
‘We’ve had Bob Dylan and we’ve had Jennifer Hudson. Gloria Estefan and Los Lobos. Aretha, Patti, Smokey,’ Obama said. ‘I’ve had Paul McCartney singing ‘Michelle’ to Michelle and Stevie singing ‘Happy Birthday.’

‘We’ve had Buddy Guy and Mick Jagger getting me to sing ‘Sweet Home Chicago,’ ‘ he continued. ‘So this has been one of our favorite traditions, and it’s with a little bit of bitter-sweetness that this is our final musical evening as president and first lady.’
At one point, he a joked: ‘There will be no twerking tonight. At least not by me. I don’t know about Usher.’
After the speeches came performances from the likes of Usher, Monáe, the Roots and more.
Then the crowd hit the dance floor where Usher was able to capture POTUS grooving to Hotline Bling.
Musician James Poyser said that it didn’t stop there. Usher and Obama also pulled off another dance move.
‘When the POTUS is dabbing with @Usher in the middle of the dance floor at the White House, you KNOW you’re at the most epic party ever!!’ he tweeted.
Ever since Drake released ‘Hotline Bling’ back in October 2015, he has been parodied by countless celebrities and fans, Justin Bieber and Beyonce to Seth Rogan.
