Professor Green Star Reveals What Really Happened With Ex-Wife Millie Mackintosh

Professor Green has confessed that he would get “panic attacks” after seeing missed calls from his ex-wife Millie Mackintosh after a wild night out with his friends during their marriage.

The Read All About It hitmaker is gearing up to his brand new single, which gives an insight into the couple’s short-lived marriage following their divorce earlier this year.

The British rapper admitted that the song is mainly about having “one more drink” with mates after a night out, which he wrote over a year ago.

“Then one more drink turns into someone’s kitchen, staying up until God knows what hour putting the world to rights,” Pro told The Sun.

“Then sunlight starts to appear through the curtains and you realise you have to face the music.”

He added: “You turn on your phone and have a panic attack about the text messages and missed calls.”

The star insisted that he’s not worried about the former Made in Chelsea star hearing the track at all: “I think she’ll probably say, ‘Well at least he’s being honest about that. That definitely happened once or twice’.”

Pro explained that he finds their split “really sad” as they did love each other but it just “didn’t work” for various reasons.

“Therefore I would rather just move forward. No resentment,” he said.

Millie might want to get her driver to turn off the car radio this week, as Pro’s song is about the flood the radio waves.

The ex-husband of the former MIC babe , who is releasing his album Back On The Market, has been working for months on his latest track, One Eye On The Door, and the lyrics are pretty eye-opening about his love life.

He’s never revealed full details about the pair’s split earlier this year, but he’s now blowing the lid open on what he’s really been like in relationships.

Mirror Celeb has listened to the song, which is proof Pro is back with a bang, and he raps about everything from his rubbish sex life, drug-taking and staying out late without the missus to threats of divorce.

The 32-year-old star raps: “Same old/ you know getting arrested/ Being offensive, flow still as impressive/ Me an the Mrs we are getting along/ Till I do something wrong – then it’s another domestic.

“People wanna know what my life’s like/ Behind closed doors what’s my wife like/ It gets crazy in bed – We watch a couple episodes/ Of a box set and and then it’s night night.

“When she hears this shit it’s lights out/ I’ll probably get kicked out of my house/ Till I come back with a brand new Chanel bag and shoes but I refuse to wave a white towel.”

He goes on: “I know I’m my own worst enemy/ Happy wife, happy life but I like stress/ I don’t why just, seems to be that whenever there’s upset I operate at my best.”

A female vocalist can then be heard singing about her partner being out all night, as she asks: “Were you preoccupied? I can’t do this anymore. One eye on the door.”

Pro then raps: “S*** I’m dead – I don’t know where the time went/ Where’s my phone? S*** sixty-one missed calls/ A divorce is on the cards if I don’t split/ And get my arse in gear – I’m asking for it/ A b***** ain’t I – auf wiedersehen.”

He also references drug-taking and drinking with the verse: “What’s one more half, what’s one more spliff/ What’s one more glass/ What’s one more line, what’s one more toke/ I’m already a dead man when I get home.”

Produced by Diztortion, One Eye On The Door will be premiered on Friday morning by Scott Mills, who is standing in for Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show.

Although he doesn’t name Millie in the track, he has previously spoken about how she’ll feel when the song drops, insisting it’s actually about his previous Lothario ways and was written while they were still together.

He says: “My publicist used to say to me ‘One eye on the door’ in my single days when I’d say, ‘It is serious this time’.

“She’d say, ‘F*** off, Green, you still have one eye on the door.’ So you can imagine what it is about.

“I wasn’t necessarily in Millie’s good books with this. But she knows I am a lippy little s**t.”

Pro, real name Stephen Manderson, was granted a quickie divorce from from Millie, 27, after two and a half years of marriage after they parted ways back in February this year.

The former reality TV star, who is now back dating her ex-boyfriend Hugo Taylor, cited “unreasonable behaviour” as the reason for their split.

Pro’s new song, out at midnight on Thursday, marks his first release since the 2014’s chart hit Lullaby featuring Tori Kelly.
