According to WSB Atlanta, Rick Ross, the God Forgives rapper, was pulled over in his Bentley on Wednesday for a window tint violation when officers smelled weed.
A search turned up “five rolled marijuana cigarettes.” Ross was booked on misdemeanor marijuana possession and got a citation for the tinted windows. He was reportedly “very cooperative” with police officials.
Fayette County officials said Rick Ross was pulled over along Highway 279. As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, Ross was still being processed into the jail.
According to Allen Stevens, Executive Assistant to the Sheriff, Ross was not given special treatment because of his celebrity status. Therefore he waited hours to be processed, in line with approximately thirty other people.
The nationally-known Ross purchased the Evander Holyfield estate in Fayette County in early 2014 for about $6 million, well under its estimated construction cost of $50 million.
