After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts, Spanish artist Jaime Sanjuan Ocabo ran into a financial crisis that meant he couldn’t afford basic materials necessary for a painter. After a 4 year hiatus from painting, the artist was gifted an iPad that he says changed his life. Now, he creates incredibly realistic digital paintings on the tablet with nothing more than his own fingers. Ocabo has spent thousands of hours on his digital finger paintings and says, “With the help of this tool I do not need a studio, and there is no need to buy any materials for creating my paintings. I still have no job, but now I feel alive!”
