Ferrero Rochers*… the classic Christmas gift if you’re not sure what to buy. In laws? Ferrero Rochers. Sister’s boyfriend? Ferrero Rochers. We’ve all given them, we’ve all been given them. Never is it an offensive gesture however, because, for starters they’re always a better option than Celebrations or Quality Street, and secondly, Ferrero Rochers are the bomb. That’s why we’re really excited about the new pop-up coming to Covent Garden in December!
Guests will be presented with a plate of 5 mini desserts, including a cocoa-roasted whole hazelnut smothered in a light praline mousse, spun sugar dusted with edible glitter, and a silky ganache set in a chocolate case. The desserts will all be hand-crafted by celebrated chef, Paul Hannegan, who will take you on a multi-sensorial journey of texture and taste, exploring every aspect of the golden-wrapped treat.
The pop-up, named ‘Dolce’, will only be around from 1-11 December, and you’ll find it at 21 Slingsby Place in Covent Garden. It’ll be open from 1-11pm for both pre-bookings and walk-ins, and the experience will last around 45 minutes. Dessert plates cost £10 (£15 if you pre-book) and include a glass of prosecco. We’ll cheers to that!
What the hell is the plural of Ferrero Rocher?!
