Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz, announced the birth of their second son together on Instagram today. It’s going to be a boy and he will be called Genesis Ali Dean.
Genesis, who was born early Saturday morning, is the baby brother of Egypt Daoud, 4. Beatz is also the father of Nicole, Prince Nasir and Kasseem from previous relationships.
Keys had a feeling the baby was coming soon in Christmas eve. Alicia and Swizz already have a son, Egypt Daoud, aged four. ‘I think he’s super excited because he’s not going to be the youngest anymore,’ the New Yorker told People in October. ‘He’s always kissing my belly.’ The meaning of the name Genesis is ‘beginning’ or ‘birth’ and the origin is Greek.
