Things appear to be heating up between Jennifer Lawrence and her new man Darren Aronofsky.
The 26-year-old actress enjoyed a romantic date with the Black Swan director in New York on Wednesday and seemingly couldn’t keep her hands off her 47-year-old beau.
The duo – who are yet to confirm they’re dating – wrapped up in scarves as they strolled holding hands, stopping every now and again to steal a kiss.
The Joy star looked great in a stylish black coat and tight jeans which she paired with suede ankle boots.
Darren, who has a 10-year-old son with actress Rachel Weisz, opted for a smart shirt and trousers with grey scarf and flat cap to keep out the chill.
At one point the Oscar winner wrapped her arms around her boyfriend for a playful hug as they walked together.
It looked just like a scene from a romcom as the couple stopped outside a flower shop gazing at each other before going in for a smooch.
Lawrence and Aronofsky reportedly grew close when they worked on an untitled movie together this summer.
The drama, directed by Aronofsky, is about uninvited guests that disrupt the lives of a couple. The film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Javier Bardem.
The new couple were first spotted enjoying dinner together in August in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York.
Over the weekend the twosome were spotted looking blissfully happy as they stepped out with Lawrence’s dog Pippi.
Proving just how close they’ve become the duo even shared a lollipop on the outing according to E! News.
Lawrence last dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 39, following his split from Gwyneth Paltrow.
And last week People reported Lawrence seems ‘relaxed’ around Darren.
‘She struggled when she dated Chris and seemed very stressed out,’ a source said.
‘With Darren, it will probably be different. He does not attract attention like Chris does.’
The insider described Darren as ‘very low-key.’
The pal added: ‘He does not seem like a person who enjoys being a celebrity. Jennifer is the same.’
Lawrence has a very busy slate in front of her. She has signed on to play Zelda Fitzgerald in a biographical movie. After that she will star in It’s What I Do and Bad Blood.
The actress is also set to work on Red Sparrow in which she will play Dominika Egorova.
