Jimmy Fallon Uncomfortable Kiss With Ellen DeGeneres While He Is Practice For Golden Globes

Jimmy Fallon is hosting the 74th annual Golden Globes on Sunday.

And ahead of the big night, the 42-year-old Tonight Show host made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show to play a game called Speak Out to practice ‘possible dialogue’ for the impending awards show.

The 58-year-old daytime comedienne had Jimmy say sentences with the impairment of a mouth contraption – which she joked came from her gynecologist – but that didn’t stop Jimmy from playing along and upping the ante with a kiss for Ellen.

Beginning the special ‘Golden Globes edition of Speak Out’ Jimmy hilariously obliged placing the large plastic piece in his mouth.

‘Something I may have overheard at the Golden Globes,’ Jimmy managed to say clearly.

Jimmy read the next cue card: ‘Why is this show so long?’

‘I thought Tina and Amy were hosting!’ Jimmy, who succeeds Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in this year’s hosting duties, said seamlessly and then let out a big laugh.

This will be Jimmy’s first time hosting the show, but the veteran has previously hosted the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards for NBC.

Last year’s Golden Globes were hosted by Ricky Gervais, but the three years in a row prior Tina Fey and Amy Poehler held the honor.

Ellen’s game continued with Jimmy reading the lines, ‘Jimmy Fallon is SO hot’ and ‘They ran out of tequila!’

The SNL alum capped the segment off by asking Ellen for a kiss while still having the awkward plastic piece in his mouth.

Ellen didn’t hesitate for a second and leaned in for the smooch which brought the audience to roaring laughter.

The Golden Globes will broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
