Last January, her best friend Jonathan Cheban failed to give too much away on the inner workings of the Kardashian clan.
Now Celebrity Big Brother bosses are hoping to strike a deal with Kim’s ex-boyfriend Ray J.
Producers of the new All Stars version of the show – which starts on January 3 -are in talks with the singer, who famously co-starred with the reality TV queen in her infamous sex tape.
And they hope he will spill all the details about their time together as Kim’s star began to rise.
A source tells The Sun: ‘Bosses are over the moon with how the negotiations are going.
‘Kim is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and they were never going to get her but booking Ray J means they’ll get someone with proper insight into what goes on behind closed doors.
‘He was right by her side as she shot to fame because of their sex tape so they are hoping he will talk openly about their relationship and reveal lots of new things about her while in the house.’
Ray J – brother of R&B sensation Brandy – has previously dished the dirt on Kim in his track Famous alongside Chris Brown.
The songs lyrics included the line: ‘Look her in the eyes. She was the first one to sign on the line. She was the real one to plan it all out.’
It will be another blow for Kim after a tough 2016, in which she has been robbed at gunpoint and faced claims her marriage to Kanye West is heading towards divorce.
Like Kim, Ray J is now married – he tied the knot to reality star Princess Love in August.
Hosts Emma Willis and her right-hand man Rylan Clarke-Neal have promised ‘the most colourful series yet’, the duo did a good job putting the point across as they posed in front of a bright pop art style background while on promo duties.
Showing off her incredible post-baby body, Emma, 40, donned a scarlet A-Line dress that nipped in at her slender waist.
Skimming her tanned and toned thighs, the mother-of-three elongated her lean pins with a pair of patent red heels.
Meanwhile, Rylan, 28, looked as dapper as ever in a navy suit that he teamed with an eye-catching ruby tie.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother will air in the new and is billed as being ‘back with a bang to brighten up your January with a starry celebration of colour!’
The All Stars v New Stars theme will see legendary housemates of the past competing against new celebrities to be crowned the series winner.
One housemate who has already confirmed their place in the series is Lauren Harries, who found fame as the ten-year-old child antiques expert, James Charles Harries, on Terry Wogan’s chat show in 1988.
The transgender entertainer, 38, finished third when she took part in 2013, losing out to Abz from FIVE and Charlotte Crosby.
A representative for Lauren told MailOnline: ‘All she can say is that she shall be meeting some interesting people at Elstree on the 2nd of January.’
Lauren recently hinted she’ll be returning to the famous reality show by tweeting a picture of herself with Big Brother’s Bit On The Side host Rylan Clark-Neal in his Elstree dressing room.
