Rochelle and Marvin Humes Expect Their Second Child

Rochelle and Marvin Humes are expecting their second child.

The Saturdays singer, 27, and the JLS star, 31, both took to Instagram on Thursday to announce they are set to add to their brood, much to the delight of their three-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai.

Sharing a stunning black and white snap as she cradled her rounded belly, Rochelle added a sweet caption: ‘Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes, but who are you? Nobody knows…’, while Marvin shared a collage of images of his stunning wife.

Rochelle and Marvin began dating in 2010 before marrying in 2012 in an idyllic ceremony at Blenheim Palace before welcoming their daughter in 2013.

A representative for the couple confirmed the news to MailOnline, saying: ‘They are both over the moon’, before they began their Instagram spree.

Rochelle’s social media snap, shared with her 959,000 followers, showed her kneeling while sporting a grey Calvin Klein sports bra and a sizable bump.

Elsewhere Marvin shared a collage of images from the same shoot, while adding the gushing caption: ‘Absolutely delighted to announce that we’re extending our family! Rochelle and I are over the moon! Baby Humes no2 is on the way!!!’

Last week, Rochelle confessed that she feels pressure for another child from her little girl, who is desperate for a brother or sister to play with.

‘I’m feeling it from Alaia, for sure! She’s already quizzing me and saying that her friends all have brothers or sisters,’ the singer-turned-TV presenter told The Sun‘s Fabulous magazine.

But despite the pleas from her only child, The Saturdays star insisted that while she is keen on another baby, she’s in no rush.

Rochelle added: ‘At the minute I feel so blessed and happy with the way everything is that I’d never put pressure on that, but definitely in the future.’

The TV personality – who soared to fame at the tender age of 11 in the band S Club Juniors – is finding it difficult seeing Alaia growing up so quickly.

Rochelle admitted she wants to put her little one in a protective ‘bubble’ forever, especially now that she’s started pre-school.

Rochelle and former JLS star Marvin, 31, also make sure to keep the passion alive in their romance – and that means no phones.

The genetically-blessed couple started dating back in 2010, before getting engaged on the Caribbean island of Antigua on New Year’s Eve in 2011.

Marvin and Rochelle tied the knot in July 2012 at the historic Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire and welcomed little Alaia into the world in May 2013.

Speaking about the secrets to the success of her four-year marriage, she said: ‘When Marvin and I are on a date night, we keep our phones in our bags.

‘If you’re out for dinner, enjoy it! I find it bizarre that you would pay for an expensive meal to just Snapchat through all of it’.

The couple also vowed to make more of an effort to be homebodies for the sake of their young daughter, whereas before they would have been constantly travelling around the globe.

After making her name as a pop princess, Rochelle has become a successful TV presenter, with hosting roles on Ninja Warrior UK, The Xtra Factor and most recently, The Next Great Magician, alongside co-host Stephen Mulhern.

The Saturdays – which is also formed of Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Mollie King and Vanessa White –  announced their indefinite hiatus last year.

Una explained shortly after to MailOnline that The Saturdays’ break is due to the fact the band members are keen to pursue individual ambitions.

Asserting that the group will ‘100%’ return, she shut down any speculation of a pending breakup.

When asked if the girls had called it quits, she said: ‘No, no, no like absolutely 100% I’ll say it now we’re not splitting up we’re just going on a little bit of a hiatus.

‘We just feel that we’ve got to that point where we’re kind of taking a little step back and focusing on other things that we might want to personally pursue.’

She continued: ‘We definitely plan to get back together and do more stuff in the future.’
