Vicky Pattison has hit back at the social media storm that was sparked after she appeared to be gurning on Xtra Factor.
The former Geordie Shore star was pulling some eyebrow-raising faces on the show recently and sparked concern.
But the former I’m A Celebrity winner Vicky played it down in a recent chat with OK! Magazine as she said: “My jaw movement is something that I’ve always done. I did it in the jungle and I got stick for it.”
She continued: “It gets worse when I drink and I didn’t drink once in the jungle, yet people were still questioning it.”
During her interview from her new home in Essex, Vicky admitted that while she’s had flings she’s been single for the past year.
“I haven’t been a complete nun, but I haven’t met anyone who’s held my interest. It’d take a very specific man to be okay with me and my lifestyle,” she explained.
“I’m quite emasculating so whoever I end up with is going to have to be masculine.”
As we’ve all seen several times on Geordie Shore and Ex on the Beach, Vicky Pattison is a girl that likes to have a good time.
But the reality TV star sparked massive concern after she gurned on live air and then left the TV studios looking worse for wear last month.
The 28-year-old found herself at the centre of speculation across social media after she put in an odd appearance on X Factor spin-off show, the Xtra Factor Live.
Vicky was seen groping at her own cleavage in a tight latex dress and was slurring some of her words. At one point she mumbled to host Rylan: “I’m worried about my boob.”
She also flirted with Newcastle businessman John Noble, with a source telling The Sun: “Vicky and John were all over each other, and he even grabbed her bum at one point in full view of the audience.
“They didn’t seem to mind her mum was sat right next to them – they used to date in the past and Vicky was obsessed with him.
“She was there on the back of a 48-hour bender and had a few too many drinks in the green room to liven herself up backstage before going on Xtra Factor.”
However, the biggest talking point was her gurn that was seen by a few million viewers.
One person tweeted: “I’ve never seen anything quite like Vicky pattison’s gurn. Honestly feel like it could give me whiplash.”
Another wrote: “I howl at Vicky Pattison, constantly criticises the Geordie Shore cast for their antics yet I’ve never seen a gurn as bad as hers.”
Meanwhile, one viewer posted: “That’s not just a casual grinding of teeth. That girls got something else causing that mammoth gurn.”
Vicky was spotted leaving the X Factor studios after filming the show and appeared to be a little unsteady on her feet as she made her way to a waiting car with a male friend.
At one point, it looked like she was trying to wave to cameras but Vicky seemed to be struggling to keep her eyes open.
Looking relieved as she sat in the back of the waiting car, the star held her head in one hand before leaning back into the seat.
