Something amazing and rather unbelievable happened on Britain’s Got Talent, this 80-year-old grandmother Paddy, along with her 40-year-old partner Nico, performed some spectacular salsa on the show. The judges were completely left spellbound by the performance.
The performance was aired on April 12 on the reality TV show Britain’s Got Talent. Paddy and Nico’s performance did not start quite well and Simon Cowell pressed the buzzer too early. But Simon was shocked pleasantly as the salsa steps got complicated.
There were acrobatic sequences and the judges couldn’t believe that an 80-year old grandmother defied the limits of her old age and did a performance that some younger ladies would not dare to do.
Paddy and Nico’s performance in is not only jaw-dropping, it is also awe-inspiring. Paddy did not consider it a hindrance to chase her dreams despite her age.
In Paddy’s own words: “I didn’t see very much because Nico was moving me around… it wasn’t like I was stood there and could see the audience and get nervous. I was just going around like a whirling dervish!”
