Brooke Hogan Says Hulk Hogan Return In Wwe WrestleMania

Hulk Hogan could be set for a sensational Wrestlemania return, a year after WWE fired him after private, racially charged comments were made public.

The disgraced former Hall of Famer – who, in transcripts of the leaked footage, used racial slurs and said he is “racist, to a point” – was released from his Legends contract and sacked as Tough Enough host last summer.

All references to him were removed from the company’s website and programming, and fans have been unable to search for him on the WWE Network.

However, his daughter Brooke has suggested a remarkable turnaround could be on the cards at the huge event in Orlando, Florida in April 2017.

Asked about Hulk returning to WWE, she coyly told TMZ: “I’ll just say I know that people have been calling him for Wrestlemania.”

The hints come days after obsolete US news site Gawker has reached a settlement with the grappling superstar for $31million (£25million) , which brings an end to the high-profile court battle over a sex tape.

Following the long-running legal exchange with the former wrestler, Gawkerdotcom was shut down, and caused the media company’s bankruptcy.

Gawker’s founder Nick Denton has confirmed in a blog post that the “saga is over”.

Hogan won a $140million court judgement against the site, leading Denton to file for personal bankruptcy.

We have contacted WWE for comment.
