Raaz Reboot Movie Review, Is Not A Boring Film

To be honest, Raaz Reboot is not a boring film. Is so unintentionally hilarious that might have also marketed this as the first ‘unintentionally hilarious horror-comedy-with violins and sex’ India.

The music of the film is scored by Jeet Ganguly, who churns melodies to justify his monthly salary of Vishesh Films. The same old Arijit Singh laments in the recording studio and the same old tunes. The film has some of the dialogues as OMG – “woh nahi Pagal Hai dikhta jise Bhoot, woh nahi Pagal Hai Insaan jise dikhta.”

The fourth edition of the Raaz series takes us to Romania, Transylvania specifically, only the caretaker of a large house can intone: yes, this is Dracula country. Instantly, you want to look out for fellow skulking in black robes, empty eyes and bloody fangs. Instantly, you are all ready to shake and shiver.

Instead, shaken with laughter that is completely involuntary. Because Rahaan (Gaurav Arora) and his pretty wife Shaina (Kriti Kharbanda), and a burst of shadows of his past Aditya (Emraan Hashmi) spend all their time talking about it this way: ‘Kuch Toh Raaz Hai’, ‘Kya Raaz Hai’ ‘Kahin Toh Hai chhupa Raaz “,” Yeh Raaz hamein alag kar Dega’ over and anon, until this supposed ‘Raaz’ starts out by the ears, but refuses to stand in front of our eyes.

Meanwhile, there are some moments that are meant to be scary-whispers of a drain, blood flows from objects, faces painted with empty eyeballs. And we are treated to scenes that look as if they had been ‘inspired’ The Exorcist, Paranormal Activity, and many of the previous outings own Bhatts’ with creatures that scale walls and make animal noises.

There is an evil spirit around, declares a “psychometer ‘. A soothsayer comes into hysterics. A priest invokes the name of the Lord. But the only thing that saves the good and overcome evil’ a is drumbeat of drum, an old ‘mantra’, and the power of a good wife.

Suck you all those who propagate the use of garlic sprouts and crosses defeat the blood sucking vampires. If ‘des’ or ‘it provides’ no ‘aatmaa Buri’ or ‘bhoots’ plain vanilla can stand up against the power of ‘mangalsutra’. Or, must rush to add, a plaintive song ‘sufi’. One is enough. The two together can pursue anything away from anywhere, including the poor fools who have paid to be afraid.

PS: Emraan Hashmi doing mouth-to-mouth we can cope even if it is ultra-familiar. But Hashmi in a bun man? Now that is suitable for a horror movie.
