When South African fashion cinematographer Jean Du Toit walked past on old, creepy looking guest house in Cape Town, he knew it would be the perfect location for his next fashion film. ‘ALTER EGO’ is a short horror fashion film produced specifically for the Boken South African Fashion Film Festival.
It tells the story of a young woman who is staying alone in an old, quiet and very eerie looking guest house. Even though she hasn’t seen any other guests, she is overwhelmed by constant feeling that she’s being watched. While getting ready to go out she’s startled by a knock on her door. Her terrifying experience starts when her curiosity gets the better.
